About

    What is Lodfy?

Lodfy is a platform for physical commodity trading that helps buyers, sellers and brokers discover and verify trusted counterparties, with KYB verification, sanctions screening and document checks built into the deal.

The people who use it move physical cargo — producers, traders, brokers and end buyers — rather than trading paper contracts. The problem it exists to solve is the oldest one in the business: knowing whether the company on the other side of a deal is real, is who it says it is, and can do what it is promising.

    What Lodfy does

    Counterparty verification

KYB on the company, KYC on its officers, ultimate beneficial ownership mapping, and sanctions screening against the UN, EU, UK and US lists, re-run as those lists change.

    Document checks

Incorporation certificates, registers, assays and inspection reports are reviewed before funds or cargo move. Rejected documents come back with a reason and a request for what is missing.

    A verified marketplace

Buy and sell requests posted by companies that have been through verification, searchable by commodity, grade and country, with public listing pages anyone can respond to.

    A shipping desk

Port congestion built from Lodfy's own AIS observations, a vessel watchlist, and a route planner that ranks destination ports by distance and by how many ships are currently at anchor.

    Free trade tools

CIF/FOB landed-cost and commission calculators, a GOST/ASTM/ISO/GB/EN standards converter, SPA, LOI, ICPO, FCO, BCL and NCNDA templates, and a trade glossary — no account required.

How a deal works on Lodfy

    1. Verify. The company submits KYB documents and its officers are screened against international sanctions lists. Most complete in 24–48 hours.
    2. Connect. Verified companies post buy or sell requests, or respond to one. Counterparties can be invited into a shared workspace for a specific deal — invited parties are not charged.
    3. Exchange documents. Contracts, assays, bills of lading and inspection reports are versioned, translated and signed in one place, with an audit trail on every change.
    4. Move the cargo. Track lifting windows, port congestion at the load and discharge ports, and payments against the deal on a single timeline.
